Thank you for making a booking with Il Delfino Seaside Inn; we can’t wait to welcome you. For the duration of your stay, we hope you’ll regard our inn as you would your own private holiday home.
SELF Check In
Il Delfino is located at 4 Ocean Street, Yamba, NSW, 2464. When you turn left onto Ritz Street, look for the ocean; you’ll have found us once you notice a white Inn with a welcoming white archway, terracotta roof tiles and sienna awnings.
Il Delfino is a self check in Inn, our concierge are on site regularly though for ease sake we ask you to follow the instructions below for checking into your designated suite.
Your suite’s key will be inside the Key Box, which you’ll find once you walk down the left side of the cottage, past the “Alla Spiaggia” tile on the outdoor shower wall; the box is on the wall right next to the Laundrette door. (See “Key Point” on the site map below.)
Your code to access the key is C247.
Please ensure you close the key box securely.
You can check in at Il Delfino from 3:00pm onwards; please feel free to arrive at leisure. If you arrive after dark, lights will help you access the lockbox and your room or suite. While staying with us, you are welcome to come and go as if this were your own house, but please avoid disturbing or intruding on other guests especially past the hour of 9pm and before 9am.
The car park bays are directly at the front of the building. Please note that only one off-street parking spot is allocated to each suite booked; and please leave the bay with the electric symbol free for EVs.

IN HOUSE RULES
QUIET ENJOYMENT Il Delfino is a place of relaxation and tranquillity. Guests are expected to respect the peace and quiet of other guests, especially between 8pm and 9am. Parties and gatherings are strictly prohibited, and guests must abide by a noise curfew of 9pm. Should you receive a noise warning via text/call a callout fee may be charged to your account of $100 per first physical call out. Failure to comply with these terms may then result in immediate eviction without refund.
SMOKE-FREE PREMISES We adhere strictly to a non-smoking policy, out of respect for our local residents and environment. Smoking within or on Il Delfino’s property will incur a charge of a full night’s stay, as well as charges for any damage caused within the property. Guests will be held liable for the cost of the fire brigade if our smoke detectors are activated.
LIDO SUN TERRACE SAFETY When enjoying time on the Lido Sun Terrace, please be considerate of other guests also wishing to enjoy the space – the number of loungers and umbrellas is limited until an additional terrace is completed. Please also be sure to keep noise levels down, so as not to inconvenience our neighbours. We also ask that you clean up any residue before leaving the Terrace; each suite has a vacuum and other cleaning supplies. If you come across something that has been left in this area, please contact the Il Delfino team.

PHOTOSHOOTS/FILMING AT IL DELFINO Whilst we understand the pleasure of capturing images of your stay, please be mindful of other guests’ privacy. Per our Terms and Conditions, any commercial photography or videography must be pre-approved and arranged with our staff, via [email protected] Fees and restrictions apply; and failure to comply with Il Delfino’s Terms and Conditions will result in immediate cancellation of your stay.
MAINTENANCE Regular maintenance is necessary for Il Delfino’s continued upkeep. Our in-house maintenance manager is on-site weekly on Tuesdays, and our resident caretaker daily; if you see or hear them be sure to say hello. There will be minimal disruption during your stay; however, should any major maintenance be scheduled, we’ll advise you well before your stay.
OUR NATURAL ENVIRONMENT To preserve the local environment as well as Il Delfino, we kindly ask that you use resources thoughtfully – keeping showers brief, using air-conditioning only when needed, and disposing of waste appropriately. Il Delfino has been standing tall since 1948, and in our best endeavour to preserve its original character, some of our systems reflect that age. With this in mind, please ensure all sanitary items are placed in the complimentary sanitary bag in your bathroom and disposed of in the bathroom bin.
RESIDENT WILDLIFE As we are based next to the ocean, wild creatures may occasionally find their way near the building. Local water dragons, for example, enjoy using Il Delfino spaces; they’re not at all dangerous, and will politely scurry off if you give them the hint. A local pheasant and osprey also make appearances from time to time. Please don’t feed these them, or any other wildlife that may visit during your stay. Be sure to also keep watch for any dolphins or whales that may make themselves known from the water – these encounters make for a quintessential Il Delfino experience that we hope you enjoy. If you have any problems with wildlife, please call our in-house manager; for any injuries or life-threatening issues please call 000.
LIABILITY DISCLAIMER IL Delfino hereby acknowledges that its directors, owners and staff shall not be responsible and or liable for any valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you and/or your visitors during your stay. Or for any injury, damage, loss or additional expenses and disruptions due to electrical storms or other acts of God caused directly or indirectly by events which are beyond our control; guests agree not to make any claim in relation thereto. Any incidents relating to injury while on the property should be reported to management on [number]. Guests are responsible for their own safety and wellbeing while on the property.
NUMBER OF GUESTS Il Delfino is a boutique in with a maximum occupancy of four guests per room, depending on the suite booked. Additional guests may be accommodated upon request, with sufficient notice and subject to availability. The number of guests must align with the maximum number of occupants permitted per room, per booking. Exceeding this number may result in guests being asked to vacate the property, or incur additional charges at applicable rates. Please be advised that one visitor per guest is allowed on Il Delfino premises between the hours of 9am and 8pm,with prior notice to be given to management via [email protected] Il Delfino has the right to ask those visiting to vacate the premises if required at any time.
RUBBISH DISPOSAL Our exterior rubbish bins are located on the right at the front of the building, next to the car parking bays. Should you need to empty your bins during your stay, feel free to do so using thered bin for all general waste, and the yellow bin for all recyclable items. As we are next to the sea, local seafood is a must; regarding disposal of seafood scraps, please ensure you wrap all scraps in plastic bags and place these in the freezer. Our cleaners will remove them on check-out. We appreciate your help in disposing of items correctly.
PAYMENT A 50 percent deposit is required to secure your reservation, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your arrival. If you are booking with less than 30 days’ notice, full payment is required via a valid credit card. Any special requests or changes to your booking should be communicated to us via email, to email . Il Delfino reserves the right to cancel bookings for any reason, with reasonable notice to the client and a full refund given. Guests staying at Il Delfino agree that any charges for services that are not billed at the time of departure may be added to their account for settlement with their previously confirmed credit card, unless otherwise advised.
CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival will incur a full refund. However, as Il Delfino is a boutique inn and cancellations can affect us significantly, cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival are non-refundable. Please note that all changes to bookings require written confirmation, sent via email to email. When emailing, be sure to advise us of all original booking details.
