We know the fine print can seem unimportant, but to aid mutual understanding we kindly ask that you take time to read the following information thoroughly.
Rates and Accommodation
All rates listed on our website and in our communications are quoted in AUD, on a per-room, per-night basis, and include applicable taxes.
Please note that rates are subject to change without prior notice, and accommodation at Il Delfino is subject to availability.
Booking & Payments Policy
To secure your reservation, we require a 50 percent deposit at the time of booking. The balance will be due 30 days before your arrival. If you are booking at less than 30 days’notice, we require payment in full using a valid credit card.
Il Delfino reserves the right to cancel bookings for any reason, with reasonable notice and a full refund provided to guests where appropriate to the circumstances.
In staying at Il Delfino, you agree that charges for services provided to you which are not billed at the time of your departure may be added to your account for settlement by means of your confirmed credit card, unless otherwise advised.

Cancellation Policy
Because Il Delfino is a small boutique inn, cancellations at short notice cause inconvenience both to us and to others who might otherwise have made a booking for the same dates.
Accordingly, cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival are non-refundable. However, if you cancel your booking more than 14 days prior to arrival we will refund the cost in full.

MODIFICATION OR MOVING BOOKINGS WITHIN 14 days
Modification or Moving of Bookings: Due to our operation as a small boutique inn, any modification or rescheduling of bookings made within the 14-day period will be treated as a cancellation initially. A refund will only be provided if the booking is taken by another guest for the same dates. In this case, a service fee of 10% will be deducted from the refund amount.

Commercial Use & Photos, Filming
Guests are welcome to capture personal photographs and videos during their stay. We kindly ask that the privacy of other guests is respected at all times.
Accommodation booked under standard guest rates is intended for personal holiday use only. Commercial photography, filming, content creation, influencer campaigns, brand partnerships, media activities and other promotional use of the Property require prior written approval from management.
All approved commercial photography, filming and content creation undertaken at Il Delfino will incur a commercial media fee. Unauthorised commercial activity may result in retrospective commercial location, licensing and media fees being applied.
Il Delfino reserves the right to require the removal of any content captured, published or distributed in breach of these terms, together with any associated references to the Property, its branding, imagery or intellectual property.

Minors at Il Delfino
Il Delfino does not accommodate minors under the age of 10 unless they are included in a booking for which the entire property is privately rented.
For the comfort and safety of all guests, all minors under 18 years of age must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while on the property. This includes in guest suites, shared spaces, and lido or garden areas. Il Delfino accepts no responsibility for unsupervised minors. We kindly ask that parents and guardians ensure children respect the peaceful environment and the comfort of other guests. Noting that children under 10 are not permitted during weeks outside designated named dates, noted as 'Bambino Weeks'.
Number of Guests
In the interests of your health and safety as well as common sense, we adhere strictly to maximum occupancy numbers cited on the individual web page for each room. If questions arise about this you’re most welcome to write to us via [email protected]
Generally speaking, Il Delfino has a maximum occupancy of two to four guests per room, depending on the dimensions of the room booked. Additional guests may be accommodated on request, but only with notice and subject to availability.
Any guest exceeding the maximum occupancy for their room may incur additional charges at applicable rates, or be asked to vacate the property.
Regarding visitors, one visitor per guest is permitted on the premises between the hours of 9:00am and 8:00pm, provided prior notice is given to management via [email protected]
Please note that Il Delfino has the right to ask visitors to vacate the premises at any time.
Check-In and Check-Out
Our standard check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time 10:00am. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability.
Please note that late check-outs without notice will result in a surcharge of $100 per hour.
Lido & Beach Access
Yamba’s beautiful Main Beach is easily accessible to our guests via our private walkway. The communal spaces on Il Delfino’s Lido are designed to make you feel completely at home.
When enjoying the Lido, please be respectful and considerate of other guests who may also be using the space. Kindly keep noise to a minimum to avoid disturbing neighbours, and ensure the terrace is left clean and tidy after use. Each suite is provided with a vacuum and cleaning supplies for your convenience. If you find anything left behind, please contact the Il Delfino team.
Please note that glassware is not permitted on the Lido, and we ask that you remain mindful of snakes and other wildlife, notifying our team if necessary.
While we understand the joy of capturing moments from your stay, please be considerate of other guests’ privacy. As per our Terms and Conditions, any commercial photography or videography must be pre-approved and arranged with our team via [email protected]
Fees and restrictions apply. Failure to comply with Il Delfino’s Terms and Conditions may result in immediate action.
Cleaning
New bath towels are provided on day 4 of all stays. For bookings of 5+ days and longer, a complimentary light cleaning service is provided on the third/fourth day, with a full cleaning service every following seven days. Please note that the rooms are daily non-serviced, meaning they will not receive cleaning or maintenance outside of these scheduled services.
Car Parking
Because Il Delfino occupies a relatively modest site, hotel parking is strictly limited to one on-site car space per room. Some street parking is available, but if you use this please take note of local parking restrictions and be considerate of our neighbours’ needs.
Please note that Il Delfino is not liable for vehicle damage or personal injury occurring on the premises.
Pets
Pets are not permitted at Il Delfino, with the exception of service animals. If you require accommodation for your service animal, please contact us in advance via [email protected] so we can ensure we meet your needs.
Quiet Enjoyment
By intention, Il Delfino is a haven – a place of tranquillity. So we ask ask that you respect the right of other guests to peace and quiet, particularly between 8:00pm and 9:00am, and that you adhere to a prohibition on parties and group gatherings on our premises.
Please be aware that failure to comply with these conditions may result in immediate eviction without a refund.
Smoking
Out of respect for the natural environment as well as local residents, smoking and the use of vapes is strictly prohibited at Il Delfino. Smoking within the property will incur a charge equal to that of a full night’s stay, and the cost of any damages caused to the property.
If our smoke detectors are activated and the local Fire Brigade consequently attends the property, the guests responsible will be held liable for all associated costs which currently stand at a minimum of $1800.00AUD.
Private Hire/Inn Buyout
We welcome your enquiry about private rental of Il Delfino in its entirety. Please note that the following conditions apply to such bookings.
Il Delfino acknowledges that guests who book accommodation with full buyout exclusivity rights will be sent a list of all conditions applicable to their stay, which must be adhered to for the duration of the stay.
In summary, Il Delfino buyout bookings require a minimum stay of 2 nights between Sunday-Thursday and 3 nights between cross over days on Friday-Saturday.
A 50 percent deposit due at the time of booking, and payment in full due 60 days prior to arrival. The standard hire fee applies for up to 16 guests; further charges per person apply for additional guests.
Cancellations made 45 days prior to arrival will be charged a one-night cancellation fee.
Cancellations 45-30 days prior to arrival a two-night cancellation fee.
We do not offer refunds for bookings cancelled 30 days or less.
Property Damage
Whilst we understand that accidents can happen, it is essential to Il Delfino’s continued upkeep that you report damages or breakages immediately via [email protected]
Charges for damages will be assessed and billed commensurate with the costs of repair and/or replacement, recouped in full from the relevant guest’s confirmed credit card, unless alternative arrangements are agreed upon with management.
Charges will also be incurred for any excess cleaning required after guests’ departure, and for replacement of items subsequently discovered to be missing.
Liabilities
Il Delfino hereby acknowledges that its directors,owners and staff shall not be responsible and/or liable for any valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you and/or your visitors during your stay. Any injury, damage, loss or additional expenses and disruptions due to electrical storms or other acts of God caused directly or indirectly by events which are beyond our control and agree not to make any claim in relation thereto. Guests are responsible for their own safety and wellbeing while on the property.
Loss of Keys
Should you find yourself in the unfortunate position of losing your room key, please call 0477 518 770 for assistance, and we’ll reinstate your access as quickly as possible. Please note that the replacement fee for each lost key is $75.00.

It is our highest priority to make your your stay with Il Delfino wholly enjoyable, so should you have a complaint or concern, please don’t hesitate to bring it to the immediate attention of hotel management via [email protected]
